Our Story

My father told me in my teens, “don’t work for a company, work hard, work for yourself and control your destiny”. Ever since then I’ve always worked to build my own business. Together, Gail and I started our first side business in 1985 shooting wedding videos. In 1990, we left our full time jobs and decided to launch our own business full-time…First Generation Video was born. We have been able to enjoy building a successful business, all while raising our family and embracing every moment we were able to spend with our kids. The road has been exciting and challenging as we navigated recessions, stock market crashes and most recently a global pandemic. But we have found a way, through hard work, to thrive and grow through it all. We have been owners of First Generation Video Productions, LLC and then sold that business and renamed it FGV Media serving as President and Business Manager. We built the company from two people working out of their garage to an agency with 10 employees and offices in Allentown and New Jersey. In 2016 we said goodbye to FGV and launched FX Digital Media. Our goal, to provide high quality video work and consulting to our clients at a reasonable price with relentless customer service. Every step of the way we have met great clients and friends. Many of those relationships continue to this day and we are proud of the work we’ve done over all these years. We have been fortunate to control our own destiny.

Gail and I have worked together from the beginning, Gail handles the operations of the business and I focus on the creative and day-to-day production work. It has been a great relationship and has afforded us so many opportunities to spend time with family and friends and to travel and see some amazing places. We look forward to the future as FX Digital Media, as we build our client network and strive to offer our clients innovative solutions that help them tell their stories, sell their products and have an impact on the world. To this day we continue to control our destiny.
